Your emails will be stored by your internet provider. As long as you dont select "Delete Email" they should still be there the next time you log on, even after formatting your hard drive.
You just need to know all the current setting for the account.
Once youve re-installed windows and Outlook Express you just have to re-enter the following details in the "account" section. I suggest your obtain them before formatting though

Your Incoming POP3 Mail account details.
Your Outgoing SMTP Mail account details.
Your User Name.
Your Password.

Hope this helps a little, if you have lost your Password then I suggest you phone your provider.

There is a very good chance that once your account was closed, your free webspace (if you were given any) and your email account will have been removed.
The only way you can obtain them now would be to contact your old ISP.
I would suggest setting up a WWW.HOTMAIL.COM account for all those important emails. That way if you change ISP's again you will still be able to obtain your HOTMAIL email.

well actually if u're using outlook, when you retrieve your email it takes it off of the isp's server, so if you retrieve email from hotmail, you take it off of their servers....
