A wild questions for all EXPERT on burning dc games

Hi there. Iwas sitting here and screwing around with things regarding burning JGR. and all of the sudden it striked me.
What iF?

What if i use cdirip on my cdi image. When i do this i get a cue file and a waw file and a BIG ISO file. If i only burn the ISO file like you normaly whould burn a cdi file in DJ. Whould i have a selfbotting dc game then?

Just a thought lol

I seriously don't think that this is possible. Although DJ can burn iso files I think it would be corrupting the file by doing this. Why would you want to do this? What game are you trying to burn? Only thing I can say is try it.

Jet Grind Radio? Have you tried burning using the CDI2NERO program? That game has been tested and it does work on most burners. Have you ever tried this? If not you should.

cdirip is for people like you and i who have problems burning cdi in discjuggler, but the files you get from cdirip are for burning in goldenhawk's cdrwin. what you do is take the cue file, load it up in cdrwin, and check open new session. this burns the first session with the raw audio track which contains the selfboot code. after the first session is recorded you go to "file backup and tools" and select "record an iso9660 image file" load the tdataxx.iso file and select cdrom-xa, mode 2, and DO NOT check open new session this time. also finalize session and write postgap should be checked too. i have used this method for burning 50+ selfboot games including jgr and it works great. i haven't tried cdi2nero because i have no reason to, but i have heard it has some problems. you can find cdrwin easily but be careful if you use a serial cause sometimes it knows the serial is fake and it will burn coasters for you.
