Crap with the word magic in it...

versus...

Crap with the word shark in it.

Both are crap... just different KINDS of crap.

It's like how some days you eat corn, and your turds have little pale chunks the next morning, you know? Yeah, like that only it's a CD.

Neither. You LIKE eating crap?

It's like this...

If someone says to you "so should I slit my wrists with a butter knife, or a spoon?", what do you tell them?

In case you're misinterpreting my seething animosity towards all things related to ****ty boot methods as "humor", let me be blunt:

EVERYONE HERE THINKS THAT BOOT DISCS AND SWAP TRICKS ARE GARBAGE.

I frankly am not 100% certain what the difference is. I can tell you the following:

1. Both require a "no-solder mod" of some kind. Either a slide card or a flip top or some neokey piece of turd. You're being taken advantage of... some greasy asshole somewhere is pocketing your money and selling you a new and creative way to do what you could just do by jamming a knife into your CD tray and yanking.

2. Both have VERY limited compatibility.

3. Both will require you to double-swap discs for DVD games. Think this won't be annoying? Guess again. How many times do you hit reset? Every time you gotta swap. Get up off the couch, stand by the PS2, and swap discs, with split-second timing, for multiple swaps. Oh, you messed up? Another 2 minutes added to boot time!

4. They're CRAP. Why are you spending money on this crap? Buy a nice MOD chip, get a friend or the kid next door to solder it in, and you're done. End of story.
