I have a copy
you can find them on most places that sell modchips (here is one: http://www.the-console-corner.com/prod05.htm)
they cost around $20, but you still need either a flip cover/case, a no solder mod or to remove the top part of your ps2 cover/case to boot your backups and they still don't work with the majority of rips and some dvds.
I don't know of anywhere that would just give them away, if you mean to download and burn a copy then that would do no good since they are like original ps2 games
my advice: get yourself a real chip

My machine was bought when they 1st came out. I have enquired about getting a chip and was advised it would be costly and not really worth it due to the lens.
Thought i'd see if there was something else out there so the kids could play their copied ps1 games. Oh well back to the drawing board.

yes the swap magic discs don't work with psx games.
If all you want to do is play psx backups with your ps2 you can get a neokey/s-box for like $10, you do however need to solder just one jumper wire.

If you just want to play PSX backups, you could bust out the PSX.

No, seriously though...

The boot discs, even the amazing magical ones, still require a mod chip of some kind.
