Midnight Club 2 music and NFSIII:HP crack

2 questions.
I downloaded a need for speed crack/fixed exe or whatever the hell it was. but the thing itself was not a .exe file, and all it did was sort of install itself. now i can open the game without the cd, but it shuts off after the beginning logos. help
second question: is there a way to listen to or rip the midnight club 2 music without playing the game. like for when im just online for instance. any help greatly appreciated

You certainly can access the music from the CD without having to play the game, with a mad little proggy called Game Audio Player, you can download it from Here you can listen to the music and even convert the files to .mp3 and .wav files!

I love getting the Red Alert music..........

GAP is good for NFS but for Midnight Club 2 you need iRipper from here - http://tocaedit.grandprixoz.net/

Open up streams_pc.dat and scroll down until you see the biggest files (239053 for example), these are the songs. Just choose Actions -> Extract and enjoy

i tried to open that file with iRipper... but it doesn't work, how did you do it?

When i click open... that .dat file does not appear as a supported file... i tried draggind and dropping that file onto IRipper.. and after a while it appeared there, but couldn't do anything from that point.. couldn't edit or anything.

So, any ideas?

ok, i was unable to open it because i had gotten iRipper v1.6... only the newer one v1.7b2 supports .DAT files, like Midnight Club II uses.. so all's ok now
