This Might Help you Also with Generals Patch.

I downloaded the NOCD Gen patch 1.06 from GCW,but none of them worked for me--First Time it has ever happen to me on GCW .
Well what I did I played around with the diff ones (posted nocd,s)I ended up with the following to get Generals to work. The first one "Dev.ccg6 GAME.DAT" and hooked it up with "RK.ccgv106 generals.exe".and it work like a french poodle begging for a sugar cube.So if you have the same problem getting one to work try mixing the two above.

I want to thank for there work, also the rest for there effort in the past NOCD cracks, now I can put away my CD untill the next game patch .

No, he isn't.

Open the Generals.exe with a hex editor and you will find this:

000002B0 Myth / Deviance

It is the Deviance no-cd crack of v1.0. Generals.exe is the launcher for game.dat and has never been updated in a patch.
I compared this file with the Generals.exe included in the dev-ccg.rar, they are identical.

Credits must go to the right people, not to a lamer who claims he has cracked a Safedisc protected file but cannot even use a Hex editor to remove a tag !

Yep, seems to be a LOT of "crackers" around claiming that they have cracked some stuff...It's always a bit fun to look in the PE header and find a nice big-scene group tag i the middle of it.

Thanks for the correction,I,m not an expert at this stuff.I haft to beleave at face value what I got to work with and the name on it. I can't control people that want credit for other peoples work.I can't control that either, but it would be nice as you said to give credit where it is due.BTW what is the History of the whole EXE if you trace it back to the original nocd fix with those signatures ??.

I edited the original post.

One question why didn't he put the EXE with the Game.dat file to start with would it have hurt anthing?.
Well anyway it works and that what counts.
