cleaning lens

This may be a dum question but when you guys use your lens cleaner disc won't the brushes get bend because they are facing down when you put the disc in??

point the side of the disc with the brushes towards the opening of the dvd tray (away from you).
eventually they will though since the brushes have to touch the laser to clean it and nothing lasts forever.
