Movies relinked on a rip kit?
What does it mean?

It means that movies were ripped out and instead of playing all those movies during gameplay, it will play a single movie (or two or three or whatever there was room for).

And on rare rip kits, it will just display a black screen for 2-3 seconds (where a movie would have normally been).......

Most rips (not rip kits) recompress the movies to a much lower bitrate, in order to make them fit. That's much harder to do with a ripkit, since it often involves custom compression routines... bleh.
