Question Patching problems.

Well, I've been browsing the tutorials but couldn't find the answers I needed, so I'm asking here...

1) Is there a way to extract data into a .BIN file in CDRWIN 5? I seem to only be able to produce .CDR files.

2) When trying to apply a patch with PPF-O-MATIC, it complains that the cd image file is of different size than the one the patch was made for. Should I still continue to patch it? I don't know how or why it could be bigger...if the game's a PAL release and sold in Europe, and it is in English, is it not a UK release? Could the options selected in CDRWIN 5 affect this? Which options should I use in that particular version of CDRWIN 5? Because the tutorial seems to have been written for a different version. I mean, am I to use RAW DATA or RAW 2232 (or something like that)? Am I to ignore read errors, or not? What about the other options that the program recommends I use if trying to make a 1:1 copy, which would make sense, yes?

Any help would be most welcome.

Well serves you right.
There should be more than enough references to CDRWin 5 on the net to warn anyone that it is NOT the true CDRWin.
