ASPI

i am trying to upgrade my ASPI drivers because you need to in order to use Disk Juggler but i am having a hard time updating them. i downloaded that aspi32.exe file and opened it and it says this upgrade requires that either an Adaptec host adapter or an Adaptec version of the ASPI layer be installed on your system. If you are updating a version of ASPI delivered with a non-Adaptec application, then you should downoad and run that program's update utility instead.

but right now i have adaptec easy cd creator installed but i nned to upgrade the ASPI drivers someone please help!!!!!!!!!
i want to go back burning again!!!!!!!
this is the first time this has given me a problem
i have a Plextor 8x4x32
please help
thanx peepz

the only way you would of got aspi drivers on your comp was to have installed a version of adaptec's software...windows supplies the generic ones, but they dun seem to work with the upgrade...how i got around it without install the adaptec software was to get a friend who had a set of recent drivers and zipped them up and sent them to me..then i just replaced them into me windows directories...afterwards...run the aspi32.exe upgrade and it worked!!
send me an email at mecheekymonkey**********com
and i'll send u the zip files...its small...under 200k i think..
