Version 3 Tray Install

I just got an old version 3 (free) from a friend that was "broken" becuz he attempted to put in an SBOX modchip (looooooooong time ago).

I opened it up and found that nothing was connected to the DVD Drive (the system would turn on and go into bios no problem).

So what I need is either a guide or manual on how to hook up a version 3 PS2 DVD Drive.

P.S. Plz dont tell me just to get a new one, I was gonna fix this and sell it, im getting a chipped v7 at end of summer.
