Virtual Pool 3 Invisible Balls

I am using a 3.0.9.9 version and have cracked so I dont have to have my cd in all the time, but now I only get invisible balls.
This is really annoying, i want to put my fist through my monitor.
Have tried all the patches on gamecopyworld.

does it happen when you use the original cd and the uncracked exe?

No but I really need to leave my drive free because I create my own cd's. I dont want to go out and buy a new drive just for virtual pool. This is all a bit of a pain.

If the cracks don't work, try Alcohol120% to make an image on the hard disk and mount that. At the moment, this works with 98% of all games (excluding starforce 3 games).
