[House of the Dead 2 (ntsc)] is there a patch to use my pal dc gun ?

Help, i've got the ntsc version of house of the dead 2, and i cannot use my pal gun with the game, i get a "the peripheral in port a is not supported in north america" can some1 please help me out here with the problem, been searching for a patch for ages, and cannot seem to rock one up.

only third party guns will work on the US House2...cos SOA didnt want to add anymore influence into the already OTT gun crazed society...either get a third party gun or get the pal or jap version!
