Question Xbox HD question

When upgrading the Hard Drive on the xbox, does the drive have to be brand new or can i just format an old windows drive? Also, can it be a ATA 133?

No need to Fdisk and format it like you would normally do if you were gonna install the drive in a PC. Just throw the drive in the Xbox brand new out of the packaging and Evox will do the formating, etc. And yes it can be ATA 133. I'm using a Maxtor 120Gb 133 7200 RPM drive
