Hmm, what chip are you using? I think there are new bios floating around with a permanate eject trick fix. Not sure though, I heard it from somewhere but dunno where lol.

But I know a sure way for it to work. Installed evolutionX as your default dashboard (which you did, right?). Then put dvdx 2.0 on your HDD and edit the evox.ini file to use dvdx as the default dvd player instead of the msdashboard.

Well, do you have a router or a cross cable connection between your xbox and PC? If you do, use a PC program called FlashFXP and connect to the evolutionx that is on your xbox. Then select the E drive an make a folder to put dvdx in. Then just ftp it over to the folder.

To edit the evox.ini file for dvdx, open it up in textpad or something like that. Then, look near the top. There should be some settings like "MS Dashboard" and "DVD Player". Well, set the "DVD Player" part to DVDx bywriting out the path to it (ex: e:\dvdx\default.xbe).

If you don't have a connection between your PC and xbox, you can also do it with a program called boXplorer. If you need to know how, just post again asking.
