At this moment, it's still there for me (those disk icons). What game exactly have you problems with ? Also, disable any popup killers or download accelerators since they often interfere with some of the mirrors.

Yes if the site detects you using any adblockers then it'll not let you download - seems a fair deal.
btw - there's an inbuilt adblocker in Zonealarm (turned off by default I think thou)

I am having the same problem. I used to be able to allow all ads to come through from gamecopyworld but I just upgraded ZoneAlarm and lost all my settings! So now I don't get the download icons anymore.

I've tried adding all mirror sites to an 'allow' list but nothing has worked yet.

Uhm, well, guys, I'm using Opera (7.23 at the moment) for Windows. I press F12 for the local menu, then select "Open requested pop-up windows only". From then on, pop-up windows appear _only_ when they are raised at the very moment I click on a link. And, at some stupid site which _does_ use pop-up windows for useful stuff, too, I can set it back temporarily to "Accept pop-up windows" in two seconds again.

[Edit] Ohhh, forgot to mention: I'm having, of course, no problems with downloading stuff from GCW with Opera's built-in small download manager!

In the Privacy tab, just turn adblocking off.
