Your FTP speed
Hi, i am new to this forum please don't flame me if i ask wrong question.
i been use FTP for awhile now and most of my averge speed is at 5,500K to 7,500K but today its gone up to 11,000K not sure how its work but its wonderful ^_^ anyway i just wondering what's your FTP speed and is there anyway to increase its??? i do work-study in my school and i saw my supervisor use his FTP at over 80,000k per sec (just amazing speed) yup he using 10/100 LAN card not 10/100/1000, he using some kind of ghost program to format and send data over other computer... since alot of you guys smart here, is there anyway i can get that's speed??? i really wanna its

Dang.....My average speed is around 800 kbps! Thats pitiful compared to yours. What dashboard and what ftp client are you using? Im using evox 1.8.458 (I know its old but its connectivity works better for me than 1.8.3752) and flashfxp for the ftp client.

I use Evox 1.8.3752 and FlashFXP and get similar results to XxI_Thang_IxX.
Xbox DVD drive to PC: 1,600Kbps Xbox HDD to PC: 11,000Kbps PC to Xbox HDD: 5,600Kbps

I get about 1.8mb/s when copying from the dvd-rom, but about 6.5mb/s when copying from the xbox HDD. Anyways, I think it depends on what cable your using and if your useing a router or cross cable.

i use FlashFxp and Evox v1.8.752
i got 3.3MB when transfer from xbox-DVD to PC HD 11MB when transfer xbox-HD to PC HD and 5MB from PC-HD to Xbox-HD which pretty good compare to you guys i change the Link Speed/Duplex Mode to *100 Full Mode* does that's increase or make anything go faster???

I have similar speeds to Qualls
When I upload to the PC I get around 1.5-1.8, then when I go from PC to XBox I get between 3-4.5
My PC Nic is 10/100 and I have it set to 100, I would love to get a higher upload speed as I was backing up Furious Karting and it took several hours.
