Does anyone have the problem where, after installation, you click on the .exe file and the game says "out of memory" and then crashes?

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Usually, you can get an "out of memory" error when the executable you're trying to run is totally corrupt or even not a real executable. So, does this happen when you install from the ORIGINAL discs and with no crack applied ?
