the screen flickers when i put in the boot disk
the screen flickers when i put in the boot disk but it plays original copies ok. Is it me the machine hates or can I fix this? Thank you.

WARNING!! If you're playing dc on a vga monitor, switch your monitor off while the boot disc loads, when you hear the disc stop spinning, put in your game and wait 10-15 seconds to turn the monitor back on. The boot disc isn't meant for vga, and can potentially damage your shit!
