What is a slide card?

Has anyone heard of the PS2 Slide Card?

It claims it is some type of swapping device that cna play all backups and imports (even originals, something I thaught only the messiah and apple chips could do) without needing to open your system.

Ok, now im pretty skeptical, sure you need to sawp but still, a swap device that you dont even need to open your PS2 to use that can boot anything?

Also the fact that all websites I saw only showed a few pics of the device but didnt exactly explain how it works jsut that it does concerns me.

Has anyone heard of this device? Should I bother getting it or is it a piece of trash? Can it damage the PS2 over time?

It's a less destructive version of the knife trick. It's a ... CARD ... that you ... SLIDE ... under the door of the PS2 to make it open.

It only boots... *shrug* 75% of games (a guess), and yeah you can damage the PS2 pretty easily with it... just not as easily as with a knife.

Might as well throw your ps2 in the garbage if you are going to get one if these. It is just a fancy knife trick.
