hi, You cant copy a original xbox game in your PC by doing a disc to disc copy or making an image on your PC as you DVD ROM drive wont be able to read it

There are other ways to do it by using your XBOX as the Reader and FTPing all the stuff to your pc but i dont know much about that

First off, you need a modchip no matter what. Xbox games are DVD's, and a PC dvd will not be able to read them. What you have to do, is FTP to your xbox and copy the game off your xbox's dvd rom. If you are familiar with the dreamcast, it is pretty simular.

exactley like quall said. i would however like to add this. you will find pretty much every thing you need to know on how to backup xbox games if you go the the xbox section and spend 5 miniutes to read the stickys and previous posts.

it may seem hard at first but once you learn the basics backing up xbox games is pretty easy

Just to add, so its not too confusing ...

Although X-box uses DVD`s, stamped DVD`s are in a non standard format. Presently, only the xbox can read these DVD`s.

When you make a backup, normally you make it a data DVD that can be read in both a PC & X-box.
