Unhappy Wolfenstein protection

Anyone else having difficulty with this game. Won't start from the harddrive, or a backup DVD. Seems to just hang there.

I've tried all the Media ID patchers around, although interestingly when looking at the xbe files in a HEX editor I cannot find the media key at all.

Can anyone offer help/ideas?...or has anyone succesfully backed this one up?

I'm using EvoX and an xcuter2 lite (not sure on the BIOS version, but I've never flashed it and its a couple of months old now).

Cheers,

Ya I made a back up of TRCW. HDD and DVD.
It dose have the new media check in it so you will need to patch it or update your BISO.

I would suggest update your BIOS to: X2 4976.02
This BIOS has the auto-patch for the media check and will allow the game to play.

The simple and easist way is to update your bios but in case you can't, (you should with your chip) get craxtion. Yes, it's a multi disc tool but if you load up the program and click tools it has an xbe patcher. It found the wolfenstien protection for me so you should have no problem with it

I used Craxtion to patch the Default.xbe. And and game works fine. I did however, use Copyhunters patcher with bad results, so basically use Craxtion if you can't update you BIOS

Cheers for that. All up and running now, the patcher in ISOCraxtion v2.1 seems to work unlike the others I've tried!
