Sum Of All Fears,
 i have just backed up the "sum of all fears" it plays ok but when i complete a level i get the mess "please insert ps2 format disk"or somethink like that i don't know if it is a protected game or not but it loads ok, i can't find any patches for this game either' can sum1 help me pleeze

Sounds like another Splinter Cell like game. Look here. I think you are screwed since you have a no solder. But you can give my method above a whirl.
