How come my ripped Quantum Redshift takes AGES to load?

I can rip it and load it from my hard drive, and it's fine. But when I rip it and burn it onto a dvd, it takes ages to load from there.

None of the other games I've ripped and burned the same way take this long to load.

Any advice on how to sort this problem out? I'm using the usual FXP ripping and Stomp burning method. I have the Enigmah mod chip.

it is just a unfortunate side affect of the data burn method.
however if you patch the game using something like copyhaunters.xbe patch tool v 2.0 it should load quicker by about a few seconds or more.

cheers.

Where can I get a hold of this patcher thingy? I've never patched anything before, so I don't particularly know much about it.

make xbox iso format before burning any games...
iso maker is of of the tools and easy to use...
if you burn BURNOUT as data it will take forever to load like 1-2 minutes but if you do xbox-iso its like 25sec.

i have burnout backed up with data burn method takes 10 seconds to load.

the iso method is highley unreliable and results in a very high percentage of failures. thats why most of us here use the data burn method for xbox.

plus you can directley copy a backup made with the data burn method via your pc with no need to ftp the game.

the iso method however will not allow you to do this just like a original you have to ftp the game again if you wanted / needed to make another copy

I did Mortal Kombat using the Data Burn method. Worked a charm. Identicle loading to the original.

PanZer Dragoon takes a slightly long time to load with the Data Burn method. The ISO method didn't work at all for me.

Does it matter what version of xISO you use? I'm using v1.05. I don't even know what the latest version is (been a long time since I upgraded).

You think it's worth getting a newer xISO version? (Baring in mind all I want it for is to make ISOs. Nothing else.)
