DJ2.0 not burning self-booting games

i have a not exactly name brand cd-rw but it works when i need it to except now

i used all the setting that igottashit666 told me to but when i tried to burn the cd it burned 576k and the spit the cd out and in the info box it says "Illegal field in command descriptor block"

i sat here and watched it, and down at cycle it jumped from 4% to 100% and the program was acting like the cd had finished succesfully

does anybody have any idea what the hell is wrong? is it my burner or is it the actual file? any responses would be nice.

are you doing the burn on the fly by doing cd to cd. if so that could be your problem.

make sure you copy to a temp image first, and then burn. once in a while when iput in the self booting dc games into my reader, my cd player will pop up and play 3 seconds of audio and the cd reader icon in DJ says 1 session 6:00 min., i just eject the disc and close it up again, and then it usually shows 2 sessions and the79 or whatever min. the cd is.

1 more thing, please don't tell me that you are trying this with a store bought game.

Do you have to alter the advanced settings when you copy the backup?
