Battlefield 1942 - NO CD patch question...

Quick question about Battlefield 1942...

I just bought it today along with the expansion pack for it. Just wondering which NO-CD patches do I need? There's so many listed, I am a bit confused at too which to download.

I haven't patched it, haven't even installed the games yet, but plan on patching the most current version of both. If you can point me in the right direction, I would appreciate it. Thanks!

INSTALL BF1942, than RTR, than Patch 1.31!

After that use the NOCD!

why do I have to do all in the sequence you say?I got problem with battlef1942.1installed the game 2 the patch 3the crack but it does'nt go.I'll try your sequence; need to know thank you for help

got crack for battlef1942,there was a file(maybe org file)I've tried to open this file with the notepad and now all the time (I've downloaded this file other times)the file is with the notepad icon.I mean is it the same thing?will the file work like the original? how can i return at the old original true file with the normal icon?I installed the crack (v1.31fixed exe ,server fix,no cd)it ask me the cd all the time(english crack is the same for italian v?)There was a mod dll file what is?How can i do all this?thank you for help

A Varning!

Cracking BF1942 will only let you play multiplayer on cracked servers wich are very hard to find. Even if you have the original.
See to always backup your original files!

To trix3:

The .org file is probably the original file to use if you have cracked the game and can't patch the it. Use the .org file if so and rename the .org to .exe (now you have a original .exe file wich you can patch to version 1.31). Otherwise you should not use the file.
Also the mod.dll files is one of the no-cd crack files that you'll need to use to skip the cd check (in the mods/bf1942 & mods/XPack1 dirs). Also a GameSpyHost.dll to start a patched private server.
Although i have only found no-cd cracks with the mod.dll files so far, and these .dll files are the ones that won't let you play the game on both cracked and original servers without the cd. So as i said, if you use the orignal, skip the no-cd crack until there's a one without the mod.dll files.
Perhaps there's one out already. Just to find it...

I am trying to copy Battlefield 1942. I used ClonyXXL and found that BF uses safedisc v2.6. Will Alcohol 120% copy this? What I figured after reading a bit was that I need to download CLONECD to work with my roxio burner to make a copy with safedisc protection?
