XBMP 2.3 & DVD-X 2.0 Probs

need a little help if your familar with XBMP & DVDX

i've put XBMP & DVDX in seprate folders under apps and i'm only getting XBMP to come up. i can't get the DVDX folder to appear in the apps or games folder.

also my XBMP appears to work. it loads up and brings me to the setting icon. from there i can change all my settings but how do i play music from it? i've put in all sorts of media and nothing except that setting screen

what's going on with this? any suggestion?

Have you tried manually adding a link to dvdX?

As for xbmp reading music, did you link the music directory to the corect folder or did you put the music in the right folder that xbmp tells you to?

Berzy, I haven't tried reading from cd's yet. There should be a file like config.xml, or some kind of configuration file. In it is where you link everything to the source. I'm pretty sure that xbmp does support reading from the cd's, but a link might be required.

redbma, like I said above, I haven't tried reading from cd's yet. But, make sure your xbox is compatable with cd-r's. The new xbox can read cd-r and cd-rw's, but unfortunately the older ones can only read cd-rw's.
