Unhappy GTA 3 & C&C Generals

Even though both games have exactly the same copy protections on them (SD 2), I encountered major problems when trying to create an image of C&C Generals using VirtualDrive. GTA 3 on the other hand took less than 30 mins to image (and it worked) as opposed to the 3 hours it took for C&C (whose final image was corrupted).

VirtualDrive is a prog that lets you create up to 23 "virtual" cd drives which images of cds can be loaded onto.

Could anyone explain why this is the case?

Thanks.

Monty Burns is on a distinguished road
They DON'T have the same protection.

GTA is SD 2.51 (afaik) whereas C&C has 2.8....

Try using Alcohol120% and its SD 2 profile. Have a look at CloneCD site,if your burner has two sheep at Correct EFM. If it has, try writing the image without bypass efm enabled. If it has only one sheep you should enable bypass efm error.

Ah, Monday morning.... Time to pay for your two days of debauchery, you hungover drones.

I could crush him like an ant. But it would be too easy. No, revenge is a dish best served cold. I'll bide my time until.... Oh, what the hell. I'll just crush him like an ant.
