GTA3 and Vice City on Xbox!

The last two "Grand Theft Auto" games have provided an immersive story with multiple coinciding missions. The next one is due out in 2004. A month later, "Grand Theft Auto 3" and "Vice City" finish exclusive run on Sony's PlayStation 2 and will be available for Microsoft's Xbox and Nintendo's GameCube. "And they will sell, like, a jillion copies," Pachter said.

WOOHOO! I can finly pack my PS2 back up and stick it away some where.

I'm probably the only person on this board but I like my ps2 slightly better than my xbox but then again I'm a really big RPG gamer but I do have a nice sized xbox libarary.

Yeah, Xbox really does need to improve on the RPG's. It rocks in hardware but it still needs to get more support from the Japanese game developers because if you ask me....those have the best animations. American RPG's just tend to s*ck.

It's kind of sad but in Japan there is no support for the xbox but only cuz Microsoft tries to use push its weight around on Japanese companies and that tends to REALLY piss them off.

For example when Squaresoft wasn't doing so well and looked like it was going bankrupt Microsoft came in and tried taking full control of the company by buying it out. Squaresoft got really pissed and just prepared to go bankrupt instead but Sony offered them just to help...and that is now why Sony owns 1/5 of Sqaure and Square-Enix Inc refuses to put software out on the xbox.

Japanese businesses are very cautious of Microsoft cuz of their buy-out-we-own-you-now tactics.

Ahh to bad. I would have loved to see them go bankrupt. I don't mean to piss and RPG lovers off, but they made the game I hate the most. Final Fantasy. And if the makes of this game went bankrupt I woul have a week long party at my place.

I can care less if the Japs don't want the XBox over there. We don't need them. If you wanta play games made by a people who cowardly bombed the USA, go buy a PS2.

The only reason I bought a PS2 was to play GTA3. And when its out for the XBox. BYE BYE PS2.

I like the PS2 for some RPG's however it has become a dust magnet, I just can't seem to bring myself to use my Xbox time on the PS2 just can't do it. But there a couple of games I still play FFX and a couple of gun games like Time Crisis.

All in all though the XBox has spoiled me as far as games go, I now expect great graphics with great game play. I do have GTA 3 and VC and I agree its good but there are a lot of great games on the XBox I like as well.
