Unhappy Problem with Capcom v/s SNK 2 custom music

Hi everyone...........a few days ago I tried to make this game with custom music, I changed the music for every stage and then I realized that all the data could not fit in a 700 megas cd so I took out the file 0.dat (I think this was a dummy file) and I made a new one smaller than the original and I rename it just like the original. After that I made the game selfboot again using dssbsfinal because I did not want to use the echelon selfboot method because I always end up making a coaster with that selfboot method (and I don`t like to use Cdrwin). Well, the game boot up as usual but right after the Sega logo the screen goes black for a few seconds and then resets to the Dreamcast menu............so my question is.......what did I do wrong??

Please any advice is more than welcome

Excuse my english but is not my native tongue, I hope you can understand what I tried to say......

You problably messed up with the selfboot process !
"Sega" screen appears if your DC finds ip.bin.
If it doesn't load after that, it means it can't find 1st_read.bin file.

Tu ne serais pas francais, par hazard ?

Thanks for replying to my post.
I have been in France (very nice country ) but I`m not french, I speak spanish and I live in Chile (I learnt to speak english in England).

Megalexxx about what you said that I probably messed up the selfboot process....what would you advice to me??.....trying again but using another selfboot method??...if that`s the case what method is the most reliable?.

Please answer to me because I really want to play this game hearing my favorite music in the background........please...please

The best method in my opinion is Echelon's method, using CDRecord and MKiSofs...

If you follow it step by step, you can't miss it.
Don't forget to binhack every file containing the string "CD001" (most of the time, only 1st_read.bin, but sometimes, there are some others : 2_dp.bin, maigo.bin, sg_dpldr.bin, ...).
