Sony DRU-500A and Ritek DVD-R

Im looking for the cheapest place to buy the ritek dark blues in the U.S.A. any help? And on some sites it says ritek will burn at 2x for dru-500a with 1.0f firmware will it work at 2x with latest firmware 2.0f?

They should burn at 2x with the new firmware. But you should still burn at 1x to get a nice clean back up.

www.rima.com is the best place to get Riteks. I always burn at 2x with my 1x Riteks. Never had a single coaster or bad burn.

I have the external version of that burner and I have to burn the Ritek's at 2x, at 1x they come out all choppy.

Well okay... Keep having good luck then. I've never burned games at 2x, I just like to play it safe and keep it at 1x. I'm never in a hurry to get a burn done any way.
