A couple questions...

1) What's the best program for copying self-booters? PSX Copy 5, 6, 2000 or CloneCD?
1a) What's the best program for copying NON self-booters?

2) How do I add a dummy file to a game? Can a dummy only be added to a non-self-booting game, or can it be added to a self-boot as well? (And where can I get a/the program that does this?)

3) How can I make a game that was released as a non-self-booter into a self-booting game?

Thanks!

Download DC Self-Bootable CD Batch File v3.4 and Selfboot helper from the Utilities section of this site. The gives you all you need to make selfbooting dummied games from non-sb discs

I use PSXCopy 6.2 for self bootable and CloneCD for non bootable. Though PSXCopy will burn the non bootable also, it doesn't recognize one of my burners.

For the other questions check out:

That site tells how to make the dummy file...but what do I do with it after I've made it? ???

I've found that for self booting games that only have 2 tracks (one audio + one data) nero is the best option (use cdi2nero on the .cdi file). For self booting games that have more than 2 tracks (multiple audio + one data) you have to use discjuggler to burn it. As far as non-self booting, I haven't done any yet but as far as I understand you have to dummy them as described on the site posted in the reply already.

i use DJ2.0 for self booters.

clone cd 2.7.8.1 for psx and non booting games.

ez cd creator 4 for dc-vcd's (from vcd to dc-vcd).
