Unhappy oo what to do :(

working on a buds v4 ps2 installing a magic 3.1 done 3 others with great success yet his was a blank effort, removed all wires, solder, and chip. starts up with blank screen cd drive and power supply working fine. what could it be??????

Sounds like a blown fuse cartridge on the motherboard.

pm headly for fuse positions info ( or take a look on google)then get a continuity tester and check em all. Bet one of em's blown.
