Thumbs up Harry Potter Chamber Of Secrets

I've just backed-up my copy of Harry Potter Chamber Of Secrets using DVD2One V1.1.2.

This is a 2Hr 40Min movie and the picture quality is excellent, no sign of any pixels dropping off.

Really??? Is this the longest movie that you have ever used with DVD2One? I have always been afraid to try a movie that long.

I've done other long movies but this must be one of the longest.

Never had any trouble with the picture or sound breaking up even on the PS2 and that's a poor DVD player.

I think if you use good media you can't go far wrong.

I use CloneDisc DVD-R which are dark purple and made by Ritek.

People,

Can you name the longest "movie only" movie that you have backed up using dvd2one that was successful? Ex: 7.25Gb= Played perfectly. Or something like that

Hello to everyone.
I tried to backup Harry Potter with DVD2One 112, but I don't understand how to do. I had a message telling me that is not possible with protected DVD. What i need to do before? Can somebody tell me how this program work or a link with some information?
Thank you very much.

you have to rip the dvd first to remove the copyrite protection i sudgest dvd decrypter 3.1.5.0 or smart ripper 2.41.

for dvd decrypter insert dvd in to dvd drive if it auto starts cancell it. start dvd decrypter and select mode/ file ( from top bar )
now go to the box which says destination you will see a folder icon click on this and click on "make new folder" name this folder some thing you will easily remember and i recoment you choose to save the folder to the desktop so you will easily find it.

once done go back to the top bar click edit/ select all, now you will see a dvd icon with a arrow pointing to a hard drive icon ( under the destination box) click on this and the programme will rip the movie to the folder you created.
then you can use dvd2one to compress the movie i recomend version 1.13. once its compressed use a programme such as nero xpress to burn the movie. note if you use nero xpress you dont have to bother messing with audio_ts and video_ts folders as nero xpress does this automatically when it's burning the disc.

dvd decrypter and smart ripper are free programms go here for downloads www.dawnload.net/video_software/dvd_rippers

I used it to rip only the movie part of the Sopranos 3 seasons. The first season being the longest (having 4 hours per dvd, except the last dvd). They were a little bit pixelated only on certain scenes with a lot of detail. The rest of the movie is extremely watchable.

The other seasons (which had 3 hours per dvd, usually) worked fine and had no noticable problems that I could find.

I have yet to try to redo the entire 12 dvds, menus and all with dvd2one but I think it would be a tad too much especially for season 1.

Thank you for the explanation. Can you say me how use nero to burn the movie? I have files on hard disk but i can't find how to put them on dvd-r. I read that i can use nero or Recordnow, but i don't understand how. Can you explain me? or can you show me a link? I'm not expert, I've Nero 5.5.1020 (i had nero with my burner and i download the last version from nero site). What is nero xpress? Is it a program in nero or it's a different program?
Thank you very much

New question.

Hello to everybody.
Thank you for your patient. I found the way to burn with nero, but i had an error: SCSI ERROR. I have Adaptec 2940 AHA but i don't use it to burn. Do you know why i had that error?
Thank you very much.
Akira.

PS. The movie works but stop at the end title.
