Vr5 DVD+R QUESTION

I got a Ps2 V5 and I just ordered a dell dvd+rw/+r burner I have the messiah2 mod chip I was wondering if I was going to have any problems with the v5 laser playing dvd+r dvd or should I have just gotten a dvd-r dvd burner for the v5 thanx for any help.

I dont think you will, the only REAL problems are with the version 4s w/ the weak lasers.

the v5 should read the +r
but u could well have a problem finding a brand it likes
dvdr burning is much like early cdr burning brand makes alot of difference
hopefully dvdr will follow cdr route soon brand will not matter so much

No suprise here. The best brand DVD+R I have found is.....Ritek.
