I have a little misunderstanding here, when I went and read where I bought my mod chip from which is in Canada it says that it comes download ready pre flashed...www.modchip.ca Now someone mentioned that this would mean that evox would be pre loaded on it...

Now about this file I have for Evox IF I do need it IS there anyway that I can check it so I can confirm it works before putting on the drive!!!

just make sure the .ini file is right, and your c/e drives are on the same disk as evolutionX. If it loads up, thats one good sign.

I downloaded the evox from the link for the tutorial. Now there is a ini file a couple of j pegs of screen shots of evox and the xbr file. Now is it the xbr I rename to dashboard and rename the old one to msdashboard??
Now from what I understand the pre flash means it just has a linux based bios.

If it's the X-ecuter 2 thats preflashed, then you just keep the ms dashboard named xboxdash.xbe, and rename the evolutionX dashboard to "evoxdash.xbe". The newer bios look for evoxdash before it looks for xboxdash.

If it doesnt work, then yah, just rename the original dash to msxboxdash.xbe, and the evox to xboxdash.xbe.

i believe u can also have the x2lite bios on the matrix
so if u do that
or even on the x2 pro
then just keep it the normal name
if not then u gotta do what quall said
