Question Probleme beim Audio-CD brennen mit Nero

hallo,

sorry, i've already posted this in german boards to have more proposals

here is my translation:

hi, i'm new here because i've got a problem.
for some time i have problems with the audio cd burn with nero.
every time i burn wav or mp3 files as audio cd my cd-player cannot read them. he gets only the number of tracks and time but does not play the music. my pc and other players can play these cds. i already tried out several cdr-brands, because my player don't take all of them, but without solution,
although i use the same cdr-brands (verbatim and philips) as in former times and cd's and those cds that were burned in former times still work without problems.
only two months ago there was no problem. i thought it has to do something with the new nero version 5.5.10 and changed to my former version 5.5.2. but nothing happened.

maybe there is a problem with my wav-codec? please send me your proposals.

thanx

I know all that already. I translated your first post. Do copies of original cds burnt onto cdr work? Some cd players do not play cdr.

Not sure why they aren't working. I would try a different brand media.

someone in another board just told me they are both sh...
but i had some slower verbatim cdrs ( <=32x ) and they have worked

Try burning at a slower speed or have a buddy burn a disc for you. Your burner might not be in top shape.

It is very likely that your burner is almost dead. It is an old one. Get somebody else to burn it for you just to make sure that it is the burner that is the problem. That is my guess. Probably time for a new burner.
