Copy Protection

Sorry if this has been asked before, but I did a search and found no specific information. What for of copy protection does X-Box use that you have to read the disc from the X-Box itself?

Thanks ahead for the info.

dude
at first the xbox's copyrite protection was the fact that the games were desighned specifficaly not to read on a pc.
but as you know that didn't matter as we figured out how to ftp the games using the ethernet port and software aka evox. then microsoft desighned the default.xbe file that every games requires to mutate when burned or copied, yet again this did not work hence the patch tools which beet this.as to what theyle try next who knows ? but i'm certain we will beat it. we always do sooner or later.
