Msxboxdash-xbe-progressive-patch.
has any one else used this yet and does any one know what it does.? i used it to patch my original xbox daSH LABLED MSXBOXDASH.XBE. once finnished the patcher said msxboxdash patched 1 byte rewritten. the finnished file is labled MSXBOXDASH.XBE.BAK. i have ftp'd this file back to the xbox lable unchanged. i didnt notice any difference so i dont know what its for. some one enliten me please i also have a patch tool called dvd-region-x-patch this patch is for the default.xbe file i have not tried it yet is it possible this is to change the game region in the default.xbe file.? |

...I don`t know,but the .bak file is just a backup of your original one...

cheers
i replaced thew original msxboxdash.xbe with the patched one. i can not boot to the msdash via evox and for some reason it changed my ip settings. i replaced the original dash and every things back to normal but this things got me stumped i don't know what its for any one got any ideas ? |

I have read it was to enable progressive scan inside the msdash screen. Why I don't know. Something about some peeps either tv or monitor or something only working in progressive mode.
I heard there was a progressive patch for the dvdx software but not much documentation at all. I have a hdtv but haven't tried either. |
