What about 32x???

ok folks...

i know this is an old as hell system and that nobody even cares about it (probably), dont know for sure.

But, is there an emulator for the Genesis 32x system. i mean, i wouldnt mind playing some old school sonic games on my dc(besides genesis and master sys)

Please let me know if there is one, and maybe where i can find it

I doubt it though.

Thanx.

You're dreaming if you think the DC has the horsepower to emulate the 32x, it can barely copy with emulating a barebones Genesis.

the reason i asked was because since they came up with bleemcast and pcsx-dc, maybe they had done something related to that.

im not stupid to think the dc can emulate the 32x sys.

but thanx for your comment.

The fact is that PSX is 3D and it is more similar to DC than 32x.
Even on PC 32x has took a LOT of effort before being emulated.
It is a very complex system, many chips and stuff to put in sync.
You need a lot of power and optimized code for that.

That's right. The way the 32x (and Saturn) did "3D" is completely different to how laster systems such as the PSX did them. The PSX 3D rendering could be mostly offloaded onto the GPU of the host system, unlike for a Saturn or 32x. It must all be done in software. If you do PSX in software only you need over 1 GHz machine to get full speed.
