Cd Burn problem

HI

I try to copy a CD to be used at a party (rather than stuff up the original).

The length of the CD I'm copying form is 84min

I have purachsed a 99 min CD

I'm using a Philips 6002 DVD/CD writer.

The retailer gave me the direction of how to alter the length of the CD specification in Nero and I also tried NTI's Cd burn.

In both case no luck.

It would appear that my writer does not recognize the Cd being in the drive.

It does if I use a 80 min CD but not when I put in the 99 min CD.

I've looked at options from control panel and can not see what else I need to change.

Any suggestions beside flicking the 99 min CDs

Thanks

there is not a lot of writers that will burn the 90+ min discs
a firmware upgrade helps in some cases if not split it on to two discs might save a lot of grief

Yeah he is right, there has not been a universal standard established yet. But u can try Easy CD Creator Platinum.
