error during installation using clone cd

i get an error during installation like corrupt for or mising flie yes ive burned game before using clone cd 4 but some dont work y

G'day explicitflipmod,

Such a broad question youre asking.

In most cases if you have received errors during installation of a "Backed up Copy"
it is in most instances the backup youve done.

As one suggestion try backing up the game on a slower read / write speed.

Which game is it..? Are you backing up a copy off an original disc..? Are you copying "On the Fly" with clone cd..? Give us a little more description.....

I use an LG 52*24*25 CD RW Compatible with clone cd version 4 i burned many backup games already and some worked and some didnt some said dat the files were corrupt or missing which may be part of the protection(some said) it says dat during installation and i am writing at the max speed on the clonecd but i think itt doesnt create any problems i think and the game dat didnt werk are command and conwuer generals, Max Pagne, Mech Warrior 4 , Soldier Of Fortune 2, Warcraft 3 and many others i did buy clonecd but now i think i dont want it nemore cause some games dont work plz tell me whuts the problem on the clonecd website my burner is FULLY COMPATIBLE burning from original copy

The problem is most of the time as some already said the copy protection.
If i'm reading your question I think you are already using CLONYXXL but if you not you can find it here
This is a protection scanner so you can find the best settings for clonecd.

Maybe this will help. But most of the time you will need a patch to, for the newer games.

No, corrupt files when installing means the copy was made badly. Try lowering the read speed.

and at least 2 of the games you listed were securom protected so i'd guess you've made a bad backup.. if clone screws up on you, try using alcohol 120% (latest version/build also helps too), then use game copyworld to find out what protection the game had, use that 'profile' in alcohol, make your image.. try burning it using alcohol as well.. good luck
