Game.dat crack for cnc generals 1.054 is not enough

I want to use my backup of cnc generals.

When patch 1.04 arrived the crack only was an game.dat and not a generals.exe so i still couldn't lauch the game. I solved this by using the old 1.03 exe cracked version.

But now patch 1.05 is out and again only an game.dat crack. So i am not able to start up cnc becouse it says: "insert CD."

When i try to use the old 1.03 exe i am not able to play online becouse the versions are all messed up then.

Does anyane knows a way to get a cracked cnc generals.exe or some other way to start the game.

I and many others are having the same problem. I couldn't play online so after trying every .exe and .dat file I could, I managed to get it to work online.

Patch the game to v1.05 and make sure all files are the originals.

Extract ONLY the "generals.exe" file into your directory. Remember that, you only replace the .exe file, NOT the .dat file.

You should now be able to play online normally, but that is if you have a real cd key.

if all else fails just install the 1.05 game.dat file and use the 1.04 exe. It worked for me,.. my game version even says 1.05

you still have to update your game though a?? Stupid question i am sure but just wondering, i have had so much trouble

yes so always save the original exe and .dat sopmewhre elese before overwriting, but where is the 1.04.exe ???

Please give me the link to the 1.04 exe

(And i have a real cd key)

I tried also the 1.05 Update with the 1.04 Exe, and it worked also at my System

the oldest exe with the new gamedat also worked!

And the 1.04 exe is not on gamecopyworld or megagames

also went to see that topic, i didn't know 2 of them and this one i dind't get: http://www.spielebrennen.com/index.htm
on the other 1 there was no cnc generlas exe crack

generals.exe is not updated.

only game.dat and others... are updated... and generals.exe should be acting as a loader... game.dat should be the main program... that's why... newer update crack just got the game.dat...

Hmm weird thing with mine now, it loads the game (v1.4 generals exe cracked) and I used the v1.5 game.dat cracked file. It loads replays and save games, but it won't let me start any new games, such as skermish and single player campaign. It says insert Generals CD1.

LOL, that is becouse you really need cd1 becouse some files are on it.

I still like to know where did you find the 1.04 cracked exe
