Non-Solder Modchip (Help Needed!)

I just bought my PS2 not to long ago, and checked the model number and everything. (My name should explain it) I'm new to this MOD business, what happened to the good old days where you just plug Game Gizmo into the back of your console? Ahh..

Anyways, i'm looking for a good non-solder modchip. (with a good price of course). Can ya'll help/direct me to a reliable website where I can purchase such a product? (Other than gamegizmo.com)

Oh, and I was also looking at the Modcube(NeoKey). Does anyone have a 39001 Model using modcube? Some websites say it's compatible with all models, some say it isn't compatible with v7.

Help please..

Well, you aren't likely to get the sort of responses here that you were hoping for.

Basically, 99.99% of non-solder mod chips are the equivalent of yanking your PS2's drive door open with a knife and swapping the discs.

AND they tend to be kinda pricey for what you get, since instead of a bare chip you gotta get some USB thinger which requires extra chips and whatnot.

And even the "no solder" chips require a single wire to be soldered, or else you can't get it to brake the disc properly.

$30 dollars for that Modchip, not bad at all. But check this out.

C:\cellz\modchip info\No Solder, Plug-In Mod Chip For V5-6-7.htm

Tell me what you think, modchip is 12 and I can get the modchip and swap magic for $30. As much as they paid for that 1 modchip..
