C&C Generals NO CD help?

Hi all,

I am a bit new at this...I have C&C Generals. I recently updated to latest v 1.05. I got kinda tired of swapping CDs everytime I wanted to play it or other games, so I friend told me about this site.

Anyway, I applied the latest 1.05 No CD fix. All it said to do was to take the game.dat file and put it in your game directory (when it asked me to over write, I clicked yes). Well...I did that and it doesn't work. If I take out the CD and start the game, it prompts me for a CD. I still have to put the CD in order for it to work....

Did I do something wrong? Why doesn't it work?

alot of us have done that and it missing the exe file and people are look for another one to get it work best thing to say is if you not play it on-line download v1.04 and no-crack and what for 1.5 crack to work so you still can play it
