culd you use the xbox hd in a pc?
seeing as i have installed a 80 gigs hd in my xbox now i was planning on selling on my xbox 10 gig to a friend of mine for his pc...
my question is could the harddrive be used on a pc?

Not really a good idea to sell the HDD.
It may come in handy one day if some thing gos wrong with your 80GB.

i would listen to these guys. i had a simular thing happen to me. i was messing with a new dash and it killed my hd formatted the damn thing, if i did not have my backup hd i would be screwed

i fully agree - KEEP THE OLD ONE - what can you get for a 10 GB disc anyways - this should'nt be worth the possible hassle later on

well i got two hdds
cuz i got two boxs with upgraded hdds and im usin one and keepin one as back up 10 gig, believe or not is quite a bit could have alotta mp3s and what not on it although u could have more its not like u lose somethin by usin it, if u have a spare that is
