XBOX backup HELP needed!!!

I have a modded Xbox w/Xecuter2 Pro...I have disabled auto launch of games, dvd, etc.... but it still auto launch everything!!!...
Questions:
1) How do I backup my games when I can't get to D: or ftp to XBOX once the games starts???

2) Can I load the game to the Xbox's hard drive and then copy the files to my hard drive???

All tutorials states that the game has to be in the Xbox's dvd drive and you access it thru ftp... but as u can see I can't since everything auto launches once I put it in!!!

Help Please!!!

if your running evox off a cd/dvd, it won't work. You have to set it as the default dashboard. If it is the dashboard, i have no idea why it keeps auto-launching.

Xbox boots up...states Xecuter2 and then goes into the evoX dashboard....

Anyone has the same problem please help!!!

1. Power on the xbox with the eject button. Don't close the tray.
2. When the dashboard loads up, put the game in the tray and close it.
3. Let the xbox read the game, then ftp.

When you ftp, the game should be shown in the d drive. Auto-launch has to be set to off, which you already said it was, so I wouldn't worry about that.

I went ahead and install the game on the Xbox's hard drive and copied the files from that to my pc... Burn it on a DVD-R and it works!!!!

Note:
I did power on the Xbox with the eject button and place game in.... once the Xbox see the game it still auto launched!!! Don't know why.. but it doesn't matter.... since I can ftp to the hard drive and copy it from there!!!
