Lens Cleaner in DVD-Rom Drive

Not really a question just something I just realized. I have been having problems backing up one scratch game. It wasn't terribly scratch, I've backed up worse, but at 64% I would get a Pxengine error. Happened about 8 times. Finally, since i had backed up worse before, I decided to try and run my DVD lense cleaner through my drive. Next try it made a perfect copy. Just thought this might be a good tip for those who put as many hours as I do on your drives. I have noticed that my lense cleaner disc is actually getting greasy looking behind the bristles from all the grime.

Is there a difference between dvd cleaner and cd cleaner???
I was about to buy them but in the instruction they explain that it's different.
Is it true?

Not sure if there is a huge difference. From what I have seen a DVD cleaner usually has more brushes. A cd cleaner should work on a dvd lense. DVD cleaners usually have sections to help you setup your surround sound and stuff like that.
