PrimoDVD question

I know there's a tutorial for PrimoDVD in this forum, but I have a question about supported burners. I have the software, but when I fire it up, it doesn't recognize my burner. I have the Sony DRX-500UL hooked up through firewire on a WinXP Home machine with Athlon 1700+ and 512 megs of RAM. Does this software support this drive or is there a workaround? I also have RecordNow Max and have successfully burned a backup of my original Ratchet & Clank but can't test it until I get my unit back from Bill.

Thanks.

PSonic, stick with RecordNow Max. Dude is right, Primo is just an outdated version of RecordNow Max.

Prassi is becomming more and more obsolete. There will be no more updates for it. Record Now Max is being updated often enough to support newer drives. So go with RNM.

Tyler!

I have the same burner, and had the same problem. Stick to RecordNow Max 4.5

(also, if you are using Ritek's: burning them at 1x speed didn't work for me, but burning them at 2x speed worked great).

Yes, actually RecordNow Max is probably the best at backing up ps2 dvd games. Look at the backup procedures sticky and you will find a RecordNow Max tutorial in there as well.
