DJ4 to DJ3/DJ2 ?

I have this problem: I have a DJ4 image of Cleopatra's Fortune with intact CDDA tracks, but my burner (Pioneer 105) does not support short CDDA tracks.
The perfect tool for this would be DeXT's CDIfix (http://cdirip.freeyellow.com/index_en.htm), but unfortunately it does not recognize DJ4 images. I've mailed DeXT some days ago, but he didn't reply (in the past he was very quick); maybe he's away, or maybe he dropped his projects.

Is there any way to convert a DJ4 image to DJ3, or some other way to fix short CDDA tracks?

try to search the forum for some
...burn dj v4 images with v3.. thread

you need the daemon tools to mount the image,
and use the echelon way to selfboot that game.

imho cdirip 0.62 reads v4 images.
maybe its detected as >3.5

but that release is only 2 rars without cdda
if you donīt want to mess with any tools
try to find muds-cleo or muds-cf

Thanks, but I was talking about CDIfix, not CDIrip.
Also, I was talking about Cleo+CDDA, not the MUDS crappy rip.
BTW you gave me an excellent idea
I'll mount my DJ4 CDI with d-tools, then image it with DJ3 and fix
the new image with CDIfix (which no, it does not recognize DJ4 images), and burn it

Cheers!

another way to fix short tracks is replacing them with
>4sec tracks.

should work for nearly every game
except your image goes larger than your cdr
capacity
or thereīs a copy protection detecting
the track length.

cf isnīt so big, you can easily copy tracks over
690kb to the smaller.
try to play them on your pc so yo can decide what
you want to hear instead of a short track.

you have to use the echelon way to selfboot the
game again

Thanks again.
I prefer to keep things the most faithful to the original.
I will try my way first
I've selfbooted 10's of games, but my new burner is a pain..
